First find the language version of 3ds Max for which you want to create a desktop shortcut menu via the Start menu:
Method 1: Simple and rude
Directly drop 3ds Max 2018 -Simplified Chinese to the desktop, and a shortcut to the Chinese version of 3ds Max 2018 can be automatically generated.
Method 2: Through "Create Desktop Shortcut"
Specific operation Right-click it, pop-up menu, select "Send to" > "Desktop Shortcut" and operate as shown in the figure.
Method 3: Modify the "target" data
Right-click the 3Ds Max shortcut on the desktop and select the "Properties" option.
Then change the language mode of the target suffix. In the pop-up properties window, select the "Shortcut" tab, and change the data "language=ENU" in "Target" to "language=chs", that is, English to Chinese. Then click OK.
Tip: Be careful when modifying, don't enter less characters or delete characters that don't need to be modified by mistake.
Through any of the above three methods, you can successfully place the shortcut of the Chinese interface on your computer desktop.
Then double-click the 3Ds Max shortcut on the desktop, or right-click to open 3Ds Max, as shown in the figure, you can find that the interface has become Chinese.
If you want to change to other languages, the method is similar. However, when installing 3Ds Max, the software only supports seven languages, namely Brazilian Portuguese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, so it is only limited to the languages provided by the software.
