Affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, the flow of students around the world has been hindered. In order to effectively respond to social concerns and needs, and to expand the schooling path of students who are hindered by the new crown pneumonia in the study abroad program, according to the "Implementation Measures for the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools" (Decree No. 20 of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou ) In light of the actual situation of postgraduate enrollment work, this brochure is specially formulated.
The first selection object
1. Students from mainland China who originally planned to study overseas master-doctoral programs with a postgraduate admission notice from an overseas university;
2. Possess a corresponding degree
Applicants for master programs must have a bachelor's degree;
Applicants for doctoral programs must have a bachelor's degree with outstanding performance; or provide satisfactory evidence of at least one year of full-time postgraduate research work or at least two years of part-time postgraduate research work

Note: Applicants who have obtained a bachelor's degree from an institution where English is the medium of instruction do not need to submit proof of English language proficiency.

Article 2 Enrollment majors
Master MPhil: 2 years of schooling
PhD: 3 years of schooling (for those with a master's degree in related research fields), 4 years of schooling (for those without a master's degree in related research fields)

Title IV Application and Admission Procedures
1. Find the corresponding supervisor according to the research interests, please refer to the official website for the list of supervisors
2. Email the complete application materials to each admissions project department for registration
3. Applicants who pass the preliminary screening will be invited to attend professional interviews

The content of the email must include: electronic version of application materials (see Article 3), admission notice from overseas institutions, intended major, receiving tutor (only for PhD applicants)
Article 5 Enrollment and Graduation
Before freshman registration, admitted students must complete the verification of original academic materials within the specified time, automatically give up their original qualifications for studying abroad, and complete registration and course selection according to the school's time.
For postgraduates who meet the conditions for conferring master's and doctoral degrees, after completing the graduation requirements of the project, only the corresponding master's and doctoral degree certificates of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology will be issued, and they can be certified by the Overseas Study Service Center of the Ministry of Education.

Article 8 Supervision and Appeal
Fok Ying Tung Graduate School guides and supervises the enrollment and admission procedures of all master and doctoral programs, and accepts the supervision of various departments and people from all walks of life. Article 9 Precautions
The recruitment work is directly carried out by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), and no institution, enterprise or individual is authorized in any form to carry out quota reservation, training, paid consultation, etc. Please carefully screen out false information.
The applicant shall be responsible for the authenticity of the content of the application materials. If the applicant is found to provide false or untrue information, once verified, his/her admission qualification for self-enrollment will be cancelled. Those who fail to submit the application or provide complete application materials before the deadline, or fail to complete the application and admission procedures within the time specified by the school will be deemed to have given up automatically.
Article 10 Supplementary Provisions
