The first part is to create a new virtual machine.

You can choose 14 on the version
The key part is to select "Install the operating system later"
Here to choose to check the linux system
Pay attention to the version of the operating system you want to install
Set the name of the virtual machine (here the virtual machine name should be ubuntu, the virtual machine name can be set according to the experimental needs)
Select the number of processors that can support the normal operation of the system
In terms of the amount of memory, the range that can support system operation should also be selected here (choose 2G here)
According to the experimental situation, set the network conversion mode
The input and output (I/o) here choose the default
Disk type selection default
Create a new disk
For the disk size, choose 20G. (Set your own capacity range according to experimental needs)
Select the disk creation location by default
Just click Finish. (If you want to modify the configuration, you can click Customize to reset)
Completed 1/3 of the installation.
The second part, prepare to install the system:
Edit virtual machine, set image file
Choose the language of the operating system
Set keyboard format
Choose default installation
Default first item, set hard disk
Set time zone
Set user name and password (user name custom)
Wait for the installation to complete
Restart the system:
Then press Enter to enter the restart installation process.
The third part is to set up the network and modify the basic settings on the system:
Log in to the system, the user name and password are the name and password just set
Enter the system interface
Select setting
Select network
Here I choose the NAT mode, you can check the NAT range IP in the "Virtual Network Editor" of the virtual software.
Set IP, subnet mask, gateway, DNS (there is often the network cannot be enabled, or the network card cannot be used, you need to find relevant experience articles to solve it)
