2. Install Ubuntu system using VirtualBox virtual machine

1. Use VirtualBox to create a new virtual machine

First install the downloaded VirtualBox virtual machine software

(1) Open VirtualBox virtual machine software and select New Virtual Machine

(2) Set the virtual machine name and virtual machine storage location

The virtual machine type is set to Linux and the version is set to Ubuntu (64-bit)

(3) The virtual machine memory size and processor are selected according to the performance of your computer.

The recommended memory size is 5120MB and the processor is 3CPU 

(4) Select the created virtual machine, click "No CD" in the storage on the right, and then select "Select Virtual Disk..." 

(5) Select the Ubuntu system image file you just downloaded and click to open it. 

(6) Then click Start to start installing the Ubuntu system 

 2. Install Ubuntu system using VirtualBox virtual machine

(1) After starting the virtual machine, select the first item and press Enter to install. 

(2) Press the shortcut keys Ctrl+Alt+T on the current page to open the terminal

Enter xrandr -s 1440x900 in the terminal to change the resolution to 1440x900 for easier operation later.

(3) Scroll down on the left to find "Chinese (Simplified)" and select "Install Ubuntu" to install

(4) Click to continue later.

 

(5) Select "Erase entire disk and install Ubuntu" and click Install Now

You can choose to continue later

Note: Your disk will not be cleared here, so please feel free to choose! !

 

 (6) Set the computer name (set according to your own needs)

"Username" can be the same as "Your Name"

It is recommended to set the password simply, as the password will be used in many subsequent operations. 

(7) Enter system installation

The installation may take a long time, just wait patiently

 Tip: If it takes too long to download the language pack interface, you can choose to skip it! ! !  (You can download it in the system later)

If it takes too long to download the software package interface, you can also choose to skip it! !

 (8) After successful installation, select "Restart now"

Then press Enter to enter the system, select the user and enter the password to enter the system.

3. Ubuntu system language pack download and server replacement 

 1. Server replacement (solve the problem of slow download speed)

(1) Open the software updater

Select Stop checking for updates

 

(2) Select "Settings", click "Servers in China", change to "Others", select a server address, enter the password and wait for the update to complete.

2. Ubuntu system language pack download

(1) Open settings, select "Region and Language", and click "Manage installed languages"

 

 (2) "Language support is not installed completely" pops up, select "Install", enter the password, and wait for the installation to complete.
