VMware virtual machine version selection and installation tutorial

Virtual machines can perform many functions and eliminate many risks, but how to choose the version of virtual machines has become a serious problem.

First of all, figure out a question, "Is the higher the version of the VMware virtual machine, the better?"

Of course not, this depends on the operating system and hardware configuration of your physical machine (physical machine refers to the computer) .

For example, if your computer has an i7 CPU, 16G memory, solid-state hard disk and other hardware, and the operating system is also installed with xp, the performance of the whole machine will be underestimated, and the memory cannot read 16G. At this time, you can install a higher version of vmw. It will be very stuck, and maybe your solid-state drive will lose its life.

Similarly, if your new hardware is installed with an old version of vmw, the actual performance of the new hardware will not be fully utilized. The performance of virtual machines is ultimately determined by the conversion efficiency of vmw to physical hardware. Older versions of vmw cannot efficiently use newer hardware resources.
