Analyze blender modeling from the perspective of max!

Recently, I am studying blender modeling and max modeling. There is no doubt that both modeling are very powerful.

but! Max is getting worse and worse, boring, slow to open, and easy to collapse! So I switched to blender modeling!

This time, let's use max's modeling habits to look at blender modeling!

1. First of all, look at it from the coordinate axis!

max has only one axis! Move however you want! Objects cannot be moved in edit mode! Can only move in object mode!

But Blender has two axes, let’s call them that, one is called the cursor, and the other is called the origin! The origin! These are what we call axes, and we move them in object mode! They all move under the origin, so moving the origin is moving the coordinate axis! Talk about the target!

The cursor is equivalent to an auxiliary object!

There are many modes! but!

The first function of the cursor: it is the starting point of the object's birth!

Second: It can assist us in controlling the coordinate axes! In any mode, move anywhere you want, very simple! It's shift+c, you can study it yourself!

You can set the coordinate axes directly!

 An auxiliary concept!

2. Now for polygons!

For max players, there is no doubt that converting to polygon means C drop! We often say that, in fact, this function is also available in blender! But blender also separates them for better scalability! how to say! I think it's okay, but sometimes I forget it, and I think it's a bug in blender, which is very annoying, and I get used to it after using it too much!

About the modifier here! We can add modifiers like max! then c off

! But blender has one more thing, called object properties!

Because the model is only scaled after rotation! So using the modifier will make an error! Therefore, it must be replaced again, and the position, scale and rotation are also returned to 0 before the modifier can be used normally!

ctrl+a object mode!

 Click to change all!
