1. The meaning of the graph
- Flow chart, activity diagram, sequence diagram, state diagram, this time focuses on process and behavior description.
- Improve efficiency, macro, and finishing touch.
- Sort out ideas
- Use case: what to do? Flow chart: how to do it?
2. Flow chart, activity diagram, sequence diagram

8. Activity diagram? Timing diagram? State diagram?
- The activity diagram is the flow between individual activities, and the sequence diagram is the assignment of responsibilities.
- The details and expressiveness of the activity diagram and the information density are slightly inferior to that of the sequence diagram.
- Most of the time, activity diagrams may be more suitable for the description of business processes.
- When multiple systems are involved, sequence diagrams are more suitable for expressing system boundaries and the flow of responsibilities.
- Try to draw the same process with different tools and appreciate the difference.
- Most of the time, it may be ok, depending on the communication role.
9. Principles and Experience
- Activity diagram? Timing diagram? State diagram? (Join the activity diagram of the swim lane)
- Add more details and then crop it.
- Save the source file, not the picture.
- Leave a comment, but the picture cannot be searched, and keywords can be written in the copy.
- Don't be obsessed with tools. Drawing software is a tool, and so is UML.
- Repeated learning, after drawing a few pictures, learn how to draw again, every time there is a new harvest.
