Souwell Technology: ART technical support is thoughtful and provides users with answers to system calibration questions

Extremely reconfigurable FLEX immersive visualization system

The National Institute of Aeronautics at Wichita State University in the United States cooperated with France's Dassault and the American Mechdyne Group to custom design, construct and install the largest reconfigurable FLEX immersive visualization system of the American Mechdyne Group to date. The three units have cooperated with the university's innovation project team for many years to discuss campus construction strategies and use technological innovation to develop cross-industry production goals, such as aerospace industry, defense industry, life sciences, and industrial equipment.

The person in charge of the laboratory said: "The FLEX system allows us to make virtual prototypes to improve the process before producing physical prototypes or investing. We can in-depth collaborate, understand and study product development in the product life cycle in an immersive environment to ensure that the product is actually produced on time. Meets quality requirements.”

        Reasons for choosing ART

        ●  High precision, low latency

        ● Using ART for simulation, the interaction is more realistic and the feedback information is richer

        ● High reliability and long system running time

          ● ART tracking system is very reliable and the system has a long running time

        ●Good technical support service

          ● ART technical support services are thoughtful and provide users with answers to system calibration questions, allowing users to implement applications.

        ART tracking solution

Wichita State University in the United States began in-depth cooperation with two companies to develop virtual reality systems as early as 2014. The school's goals are to optimize product concepts and design processes, test user experience, improve virtual prototypes, facility planning and certification, and shorten product development time in various industries. In order to achieve these goals, the American Mechdyne Group designed a giant FLEX system with a projection screen 19 feet wide, 10 feet high, and 10 feet long projection screens on both sides. The resolution of 12 LED projectors on the projection screen and ground screen is 4K high-definition display, and 8 optical tracking cameras are used for tracking.

        Configuration

        ● Virtual reality system structure (projection screen 10 feet high, 40 feet wide, variable side module size, 10x10 inches)

        ● Active stereoscopic digital projector

        ● Software suite

          ● 8 x ART TRACKPACK/E camera tracking camera

        ● ART Flystick2 interactive handle

        ● XPAND X103 head tracking infrared glasses
