1. This lesson will show you how to sort the data in the current worksheet according to the job list in column F. First, click the File tab in the upper left corner to enter the workbook information page. 



2. Click the option command in the lower left corner to open the option setting window. 


3. Select the [Advanced] tab on the left to enter the advanced property setting panel. 


4. Click the scroll bar on the right to view the vertical scroll bar on the right. 


5. Click the [Edit Custom List] button to pop up the custom sequence setting window. 


6. Click the Pick Cells button to pick the cells that need to be defined as sequences. 


7. Press the mouse on cell F3 and drag down to select the job listing in that column as the custom sequence content. 


8. Click the Add button to add the picked job list to the list of existing custom sequences. 


9. Click the OK button to complete the customization of the job listing sequence. 


10. Click the OK button to finish setting the options. 


11. Then click the [Sort and Filter] button to open the sort command menu. 


12. Select the [Custom Sort] option in the list to open the Custom Sort Settings window. 


13. Click the [Primary Keyword] drop-down arrow to display a list of sort fields. 


14. In the pop-up field list, select the [Job] option to sort the worksheet according to the position field. 


15. Then click the [Order] drop-down arrow to display a list of orders that exist in the cell. 


16. Click the Custom Sequence option in the selection list to open the Custom Sequence window. 


17. In the pop-up Custom Sequence window, click the vertical scroll bar on the right side of the [Custom Sequence] list to open the just-defined job sequence. 


18. Click to select a custom job sequence. 


19. Click the OK button to complete the selection of the custom sequence. 


20. Finally, click the OK button to close the sorting setting window, and observe the effect of sorting the company staff list by position.
