2.14 Paging preview of the view and the use of page breaks [Original Excel Tutorial]

1. This lesson will demonstrate the use of page breaks in page break view. First click the Views tab to display the Views function panel. 



2. Then click the page preview button to enter page preview mode. 


3. In the page-by-page preview mode, you can browse the worksheet by printing by page. Click the vertical scroll bar to view the content below the sheet. 


4. The current worksheet has a total of one page of content. Click the vertical scroll bar to return to the top of the sheet. 


5. You can divide the current worksheet into multiple pages for printing by inserting page breaks. First click on the row number to select a row of cells. 


6. Then click the right mouse button to pop up the context menu. 


7. In the pop-up right-click menu, select the [Insert Page Break] command to insert a page break at the position of the current line. 


8. After inserting a page break, the original one-page worksheet is divided into two pages. Click a cell elsewhere to deselect the cell row. 


9. Press the mouse on the separation line of the page break and drag it downward to adjust the position of the page break. 


10. Click on a column header to select a column of cells. 


11. Then click the right mouse button to pop up the context menu. 


12. In the pop-up right-click menu, select the [Insert Page Break] command to insert a page break at the position of the current column. 


13. After adding the second page break, the worksheet is divided into four pages. Click on a cell elsewhere to deselect the cell column. 


14. Press the mouse on the separation line of the page break and drag it to the left to adjust the position of the page break. 


15. Click the File tab in the upper left corner to enter the Workbook Information page. 


16. In the command list on the left, select the print command to enter the print setting page. 


17. Click the scroll bar on the right to view the page number information below. 


18. Since the worksheet is divided into four pages by page breaks, it is displayed here as four pages. Click the Next Page button to view the second page. 


19. Continue to click the Next Page button to view the content of the third page. 


20. Click the Next Page button again to view the contents of the last page. 


21. Click the Print Properties vertical scroll bar to display the print settings options at the bottom. 


22. Then click the Page Setup button at the top to open the Page Setup window. 


23. In the pop-up page setup window, click the [Worksheet] tab to display the worksheet panel. 


24. Click to check the [Line first, then Column] radio box to enable landscape priority printing. 


25. Click the OK button to complete the page settings. 


26. In the page number input box, enter 1 and press the Enter key on the keyboard to return to the first page. 


27. Then click the Next Page button to observe the page order in the row-before-column mode. 


28. The content of the second page is the content to the right above the horizontal page break of the worksheet. Continue to click the next page button to view the content of the third page. 


29. The content of the third page is the content to the left below the horizontal page break of the worksheet. Click the back button in the upper left corner to return to the worksheet interface. 


30. If you need to delete a horizontal page break, you can press the mouse on the page break and drag it upwards to the position of the column heading to delete the page break. 


31. In the same way, drag the vertical page break to the left row number position to delete this page break. 


32. Click to select a cell in the worksheet. 


33. Then click the right mouse button on the cell to pop up the context menu. 


34. In the pop-up right-click menu, select the [Insert Page Break] command, insert horizontal and vertical page breaks in this cell, and divide the worksheet into four pages. 


35. When you need to delete a page break, in addition to dragging, you can also use the commands in the right-click menu. Click the right mouse button on the cell to pop up the context menu. 


36. In the pop-up right-click menu, select the [Delete Page Break] command to quickly delete all page breaks.
