GeoNet，第一个基于点云来为物体表面固有(Geodesic)结构建模的神经网络。研究人员提出了一种融合机制利用GeoNet与基础网络结合起来对点云进行分析。这篇文章提出了GeoNet来从点云数据中学习出表面拓扑形态的表示方法，并用测地线(geodesic)融合的方法对学习到的形态学特征进行分析和利用。(from UCLA Face++ 斯坦福 UIUC)
其中GeoNet，测地线邻域估计网络的结果如下图所示，基于自编码器抽取每点特征并利用测地线匹配来作为核函数，通过学习到的嵌入特征来估计测地线的邻域信息。GM层的中间特征包含了丰富的点云形态和表面信息。：
下图是测地线融合机制，可用于点云加密上采样、法向量重建和非刚体的形状分类等。

一个用于卫星图像去云朵遮挡的数据集Remote sensing Image Cloud rEmoving dataset (RICE),其中RICE1包含了500对512*512大小有云和无云的数据，RICE2则包含了450个，每个由三张图像(云图，云mask图和无云的图)组成的系列图像。
