1. Assume manager of human motivation has two different assumptions. These assumptions will affect the manager's behavior and management style, this concept is called Theory X and Theory Y. Representatives of Douglas McGregor.

Theory X project manager will do:

1) control or forced people to achieve the objectives or organizational goals.

Theory Y Project Manager will:

2) employees rely on self-motivation.

3. There are two types of people demand, one is used as an animal avoid pain (health needs), the other is psychological growth as human beings. This theory is called hygiene theory. Representative is Frederick Herzberg.

1) incentives or satisfaction factors, including learning opportunities, access to elements of capacity, achievement and praise.

2) health care more about the factors leading to dissatisfaction with workplace issues such as working conditions, job security relationships, co-workers and supervisors, the pay gap, technical issues, policies and procedures, and so on.
