Open the VMware Workstation interface
Choose to create a new virtual machine
It is recommended to directly select the default "Typical (recommended)", and then click Next
If you have prepared the image file (.iso file) of the Linux system in advance, you can select the "installation program CD image file" here, and use the "Browse" button to find the directory of the iso file to be installed on the Linux system and select it; if not in advance Prepare the image file (.iso file) of the Linux system and select "Install the operating system later". Click "Next"
Enter the name, user name, password and other information, and click "Next"
Select the location to install the virtual machine through "Browse" and click "Next"
Check the content according to the above picture and click "Next"
Click "Finish", the virtual machine is created
You can set the user and password in the above interface, and after the completion, the Linux virtual environment is successfully installed.
