vmware workstation ubuntu virtual machine cannot use shared directory

Description of the problem:

Install the ubuntu virtual machine on the vmware workstation and set the share folder.
After starting ubuntu, there is no shared directory in the /mnt/ directory.
Use vmware-hgfsclient to query the name of the share folder.

The problem exists on both ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 versions.
It is estimated that it exists in versions after 14.04.
The solution was tested and passed in version

16.04 Solution:
sudo apt install git
git clone https://github.com/rasa/vmware-tools-patches.git
cd vmware-tools-patches
sudo ./patched-open-vm-tools.sh

This is a patch for vmware that will solve the problem after installation.

Set up the share folder process:
install patch -> shutdown ubuntu -> config share folder -> start ubuntu

does not follow the above process to install the patch and set the shared directory, which may cause the shared directory to remain invisible.
