Realize file transfer between host and virtual machine in wmware workstation (two)-install VMware tools

Open the wmware workstation interface

Select the virtual machine to operate and start

Right-click the virtual machine and select "Install VMware tools" in the menu bar that appears

Copy the tools compressed package inside and save it to the virtual machine directory

I paste it here under the downloads folder under home

Open the terminal: Ctrl+Alt+T, start to unzip the file

enter:

tar zxvf VMwareTools-10.3.22-15902021.tar.gz

The above statement shows that the decompression is successful.

Install VMwareTools

input the command:

sudo ./vmware-install.pl

You will be prompted to enter the password, enter it, and then start the installation, and press Enter when prompted

The result of successful installation is shown in the figure above

Restart the virtual machine to complete the installation

You can directly use the drag and drop method to realize the file transfer between the host and the virtual machine in the wmware workstation.
