Environment configuration_Optimization_Optimization solution to solve slow computer startup after installing virtual machine VMware Workstation

When using a VMware virtual machine, it is often encountered that after installing the virtual machine, the computer becomes very slow to boot, and sometimes it is often very stuck. So what should I do if my computer becomes very stuck after installing a virtual machine? The main reason to understand the card is because VMware Workstation needs to automatically start 5 related services by default, namely: VMware Authorization Service, VMware DHCP Service, VMware NAT Service, VMware USB Arbitration Service, VMware Workstation Server, as long as these are not allowed The service starts automatically.

Note: Sometimes the virtual machine cannot be started, and the JOptionPane pop-up box of "internal error" is displayed. This is because the above 5 services are not automatically enabled, just manually start: My Computer -> Right-click the mouse Click -> Select "Management" -> Services and Applications -> Services -> Find "Five Services Beginning with VMware" -> Right-click -> Select "Start".

After installing VMware Workstation, sometimes you will find that the startup becomes very slow, mainly because VMware Workstation needs to automatically start 5 related services by default, namely: VMware Authorization Service, VMware DHCP Service, VMware NAT Service, VMware USB Arbitration Service, VMware Workstation Server, you can change these services to manual startup, and start the services again when you need to use them next time, so that these services do not start automatically when you start up, which can effectively save computer resources. Of course, the service cannot be changed to be disabled. If it is changed to be disabled, there will be many problems when using VMware Workstation Server next time.

Method 1: Manual optimization

Here is VMware Workstation 11 as an example, the same as other versions, right-click Computer - Manage - Services

vmware-workstation-service-1Click on the name, the service list will be automatically sorted according to the name, and find several services starting with VMware in the service, as shown in the following figure

vmware-workstation-service-2Right click service - properties

vmware-workstation-service-3Change the startup type of the service to: Manual, click Apply

vmware-workstation-service-4  Repeat the operation of other VMware services, so that the VMware Workstation service is changed to be manually started. The next time you want to use it, you will come to the service interface again, start the service, start the program, right-click the service, and click Start.

Method 2: Automatic optimization

This kind of change is more troublesome. Here it is done automatically with batch processing. Next, two batches are used for automatic processing. One is the optimized batch processing. This is used for the first time, that is, when VMware Workstation is installed, and then the administrator Run the following batch once as an identity to automatically change to manual startup. The second batch is the batch to start the service. After the optimization is completed, none of the VMware Workstation services can be started automatically. At this time, when using VMware Workstation, you will find that the VMware Workstation sometimes cannot be connected to the Internet, so you need to use VMware Workstation to run Once again, go and click on the VMware Workstation icon. Summary: After installing the virtual machine, run VMware optimization related services once, and then run VMware one-click startup service every time you need to use the virtual machine.

The above tool is actually a small batch, with VMware optimization related services.cmd and VMware one-click start service.cmd code:

After installing the virtual machine, run VMware optimization related services once , and then run VMware to start the service with one click every time you need to use the virtual machine.
