Download the iso image of CentOS 7

Open Vmware (Vmware15 used here)
- Create a new virtual machine
- Choose the typical next step
- Choose to install the operating system later
- Choose version
- Name the virtual machine and choose the installation location
- Configure storage size as needed
- Custom hardware
- The memory processor is selected according to the computer configuration
- Use iso image file, select path
- Select NAT or bridge mode for the network adapter (NAT is selected here)
- Close, complete
- Turn on the virtual machine
