GNOME 3.35.2 released

GNOME 3.35.1  last month were released, now, GNOME 3.35.2 version has also been released. It is reported that, according to  GNOME wiki  official release plan on, GNOME 3.36 will be released on March 11th 2020. Prior to this, 3.35.x will be as unstable development series for testing and eventually reach a stable version.

The update released GNOME 3.35.2 release contains are:

  • Epiphany (GNOME Web) abandoned its custom FTP process, various fixed tabs around the improved handling, password manager now uses a secret portal, localhost is currently assumed to be safe sources, as well as other improvements.
  • Gedit updated its Flatpak and Snap packages, Tepl of GNOME (text editor product line) as well as other new dependence fixes.
  • Glib improved command line "gio" tool, and fixes many errors.
  • GNOME Maps support new public transit routing plug-ins for users in Sweden, and Switzerland
  • GVFS has better performance enumeration of Samba (SMB) shares.
  •  Librsvg recent improvements . Interestingly, librsvg now its time-release version to disable the link optimization (LTO), because it "adds too much time to build," so now decide whether publishers can use LTO for better runtime performance Construction of the increase is worth the time.
  • Select various GNOME applications night / development icon (the icon is different from its release).
  • Chromium better for the Orca screen reader support, and other Web improvements.
  • Bug fixes various.
