GNOME mailing list by team announced the launch of GNOME 3.36.1, and that this version specifically dedicated to those members of the community by COVID 19-effects, "At this difficult time, we are with you."
Last month released GNOME 3.36 brings many new features and performance improvements, GNOME 3.36.1 for the first time bug fixes and feature updates on this basis. For example, GNOME Shell 3.36.1 fixes a problem APP file on the application folder panel display. Before this release, even if the screen resolution is sufficient to accommodate four icons, but sometimes APP folder still only use three displays. This problem has been fixed.
Other adjustments include visual aspect to a hidden folder overlay scrollbars (did not become non-transparent state), and restore the grid folder icon background color by decreasing the value of filling (padding).
Other changes:
- Improved support for screen readers
- Construction of Gedit fix the problem at macOS
- GCC compiler fix the problem at 10
- In the case of installed extensions updates only check extensions
- Mutter repair the hardware cursor on the GPU hot-plug support issues, support for the middle mouse click on the simulation, and fixed scaling issues, as well as repair using OpenGL ES but do not use a desktop OpenGL build problem
