Zhejiang University Department Web3 Series Workshop
From November 2022 to March 2023, the Zhejiang University Chain Association held five Zhejiang University Web3 Workshops and two Web3 workshops, which included multiple topics and sharing by industry seniors, and received praise and harvest from many small partners. These include the transformation from Web2 to Web3, DAO organizational form, the development of global Web3.0 and the prospects of DID, the development of new public chains and cross-chain security in a multi-chain ecosystem, and on-chain security governance. These Workshops explore current hot issues in the Web3 field, covering many aspects such as technology, organizational form, and security, providing a wide range of learning opportunities and thinking space. At the same time, the video was played on ZJUBCA’s YouTube channel of the same name, and the total number of plays and views of the Workshop exceeded thousands.

"Lianfang Cup" Blockchain Digital Economy Business Analysis Competition
In April 2023, in order to help students quickly understand the industry, we opened a series of sharing sessions for this competition, inviting first-class fund investors, outstanding young overseas Chinese, and leaders of blockchain organizations from top overseas universities to learn from their Perspectives share their experiences and insights with us and answer questions from players.
In addition, the Chain Association also invited previous champion teams to share their participation experiences and exchange team formation opinions and some experiences with the students!

Change of leadership and new members
In September 2023, the Chain Association carried out a new term and recruited new members. In this session, we introduced what kind of organization the Zhejiang University Chain Association is, who it cooperates with, what its mission and original intention are, and what it has actually accomplished. The organization is divided into three departments: technology department, operations department and investment research department, composed of core members, officers and community members. At this stage we are recruiting community members and officers, and welcome people who are interested in blockchain to join.

ZDAO Forum
The Chain Association brings together Web3 alumni of Zhejiang University to communicate and discuss cutting-edge developments in the industry. During the alumni exchange session, everyone offered suggestions and advice on building a Web3 accelerator to serve global alumni, and decided to establish a DAO organization belonging to Zhejiang University Web3 alumni, which is now ZDAO.

ETH Hangzhou
On October 16, 2023, Zhejiang University Chain Association held the ETH Hangzhou event. This hackathon event has received sponsorship and support from the Ethereum Foundation ESP and ZAN, Scroll, BIXIN and other companies. Web3hub provided an excellent competition environment for the contestants. The event registration group received a total of more than 500 applications to join the group. In the end, more than 160 Web3ers from all over the country gathered offline in Hangzhou to participate in this hackathon.
During the four-day hackathon schedule, we not only went through offline Idea Shows, several Workshops&Panels, and Demo Days, but also organized the participants to go on a West Lake City Walk in addition to the exciting project building, and provided training for the participants after the Demo Day. We have prepared an AfterParty full of social attributes.

Qiushi Eagle NFT activity
In October 2023, Lianhe Association and Baiya Painting Society jointly launched NFT digital avatars and released a lottery. Nearly 150 people have joined the NFT activity group.

Zhejiang University Chain Association Crypto Venture Capital Training Camp
In December 2023, after careful planning, the Chain Association recruited nearly 150 students, invited several guests and celebrities, and launched a six-week venture capital course. Participants here look for opportunities to break the information gap and find bridges to link resources. The investment community and industry community discover new stars here, increase the exposure of content among student groups, build a talent pool, expand the industry's voice, and create more value.

Outlook 2024
Chain Association plans to hold the first domestic blockchain academic conference; host or co-organize ETH Hackathon competitions in Hangzhou or other cities to continue the Ethereum series brand; establish a Chain Association recruitment platform to help more outstanding people enter the Web3 workplace and more Many Web3 companies have recruited the right talent.
