The third update of Ubuntu 22.04 LTS has been released (including Desktop, Server and Cloud editions).
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS packages all security patches and other stable release updates from the Ubuntu 22.04 "Jammy Jellyfish" package archive. So when you're new to deploying Ubuntu Linux, you don't need to deal with a lot of updates after installation, resulting in a faster experience.
Also, the most exciting update in Ubuntu 22.04.3 is hardware support for "HWE" stack upgrades. Ubuntu 22.04.3 offers an updated Linux kernel and Mesa option compared to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS. The new HWE stack is upstream for Ubuntu 23.04: the Linux 6.2 kernel and Mesa 23.0 for the updated open source graphics drivers.
