1. First prepare the Centos7.6 installation file, which can be searched on Baidu or downloaded from the Alibaba mirror station.

2. Create a new virtual machine.
1 Select Custom and click Next.
2 Select 15.x for hardware compatibility, and click Next.
3 Choose to install the operating system later, and click Next.
4 Select the client operating system Linux (L), select CentOS 7 64 bits for the version, and click Next.
5 Select the storage name and storage location of the virtual machine, and click Next.
6 Select the number of processors and the number of cores according to the needs. Generally, the number of processors for home computers is 1, and the number of cores is 1-2. Click Next.
7 Select the memory according to the system requirements. For Centos 7.6, 2G or more is the best choice. Select the memory capacity and click Next.
8 Select NAT mode to connect to the network, the system can automatically obtain the address and connect to the network, click Next.
9 Select Recommended, next step.
10 Select the hard disk type according to the requirement, or the default, and click Next.
11Choose to create a new virtual machine disk, the next step.
12Select a disk capacity, and choose to store the virtual disk as a single or multiple files, and click Next to complete the selection.
13 After naming the disk file, click Next.
14 Click Finish to end the creation of the virtual machine environment.
15. Click the Centos 7.6 virtual machine created on the left side of the panel, and click the CD/DVD option in the middle of the screen.
16 In the pop-up window, choose to use the IOS image file, click Browse, select the downloaded installation image file, and click OK.
17 Click the name of the configured virtual machine, and click the green triangle in the middle to start the virtual machine.
2. Start the installation.
1 The virtual machine system automatically loads the image file, use the up and down keys on the keyboard to select Install Centos 7, select before the system countdown is completed, and then wait for the system to load.
2 Select the language as English, and click contnue.
3 Set relevant information, time and date Date & TIME, keyboard layout KEYBOARD, select system software INSTALLATIN SOURCE, and finally click INSTALLATION DESTINATION to allocate hard disk partitions and divide the necessary partitions of the system.
Select shanghai for the time zone, and click Done in the upper right corner to complete.

Software selection select GNOME or the required mode, standard mode or various server modes, and click Done to complete.
4 After selecting I will configure partitioning, click the blue Done in the upper left corner.
5 Click the + sign.
6Click the black inverted triangle button, select /boot (generally set 1G-2G), enter 2000 (unit is MB) in Desired Capacity, click Add mount point to complete /boot area creation
7 Continue to click the + sign
8Click the + sign to select swap, the size is 1 to 2 times the size of the memory, and click Add mount point to complete the construction of the swap virtual memory.
9 Click the + sign to create a large enough root / partition, / is the most important system partition, click Add mount point to complete.
10Click the + sign to name another disk partition/data (the name is self-selected) Click Add mount point to complete. No data input in Desired Capacity is used for all remaining space.
11 After partitioning is completed, click Done in the upper left corner to complete setting up partitions.
12 Optional whether to set a disk password, directly SAVE.
13 Click Done again and click the Accept Changes button.
14 Select the switch of the network card, click to become ON, and if it is connected to the network and the DHCP service is in the network after completion, the IP address will be obtained.
15 After all the settings are completed, click the blue Beging in the lower right corner to start the automatic installation of the system.
16. ROOT password, common user and user password can be set during installation.
17 The exclamation mark on the icon disappears after the password and user settings are completed.
18 reboot after completion
19 Enter the user and password to enter the system, and the Centos 7 system installation is complete.
