Centos 7 minimizes installation on a virtual machine (detailed installation tutorial)

Environment preparation before installation:

1. centos 7 iso image (image can be downloaded online)

 2. An empty folder (lr is not recommended to be placed on the c drive here!)
This folder is a personal habit (it is good to remember your own location) and it is convenient for later troubleshooting and other steps, which can be omitted

Then let's get started!

Detailed steps for installation:

1. Open the virtual machine (VMware workstations 16.2, my version is 16pro, in fact, the version problem is not bad)

Click "Create a new virtual machine" on the home page:

2. A new virtual machine wizard box will pop up (used to configure the system)
     and select "Custom (Advanced)":

3. Select virtual machine hardware compatibility here (that is, the centos7 you want to create needs to be compatible with the version of your own virtual machine)
