AMI Essentials Water Solutions is a flexible, open standards-based, end-to-end solution that provides a fully integrated software suite for data collection, metering data management and facility management. Water utilities can easily collect, track and manage data from multiple metering devices. The solution uses Itron's Temetra MDM platform to collect and manage data, supporting a variety of use cases such as meter readings, work order management, asset management and water usage analysis. This end-to-end solution includes connectivity and other service options to optimize planning, deployment and operations, and assess connectivity risks to help improve service quality and reliability.

Intelis NB-IoT Water Meter
Already available today with Narrow Band-IoT (NB-IoT) connectivity, the Intelis wSource water meter is designed to maintain the highest level of accuracy throughout its lifetime, easily connects to multiple data collection systems, and generates large volumes of data from the water network. This water meter is the only water meter that meets the latest accuracy standards to measure low flow water consumption and improve the accuracy of customer billing, MID certified to R1000 level accuracy . Intelis wSource water meters use low-to-no maintenance solid-state ultrasonic technology to maintain accuracy in harsh conditions and provide long-lasting performance in the field, reducing the cost of repair and replacement. This allows water utilities to quickly detect leaks and provide more accurate bills to customers, increasing customer satisfaction and securing revenue through more accurate billing.
Intelis wSource NB-IoT water meters offer data connectivity options designed to ensure that all water meter data is provided to water centers. In addition, Intelis wSource NB-IoT water meter is also equipped with AMR backup function to protect data in case of cellular network failure.
Temetra NB-IoT Digital Platform and Temetra Analysis
Itron's Temetra NB-IoT data collection and management system provides the optimal platform for critical metering data management business processes. The system is currently supporting more than 30 customers and more than 2 million end devices in Australia and New Zealand, and more than 45 million end devices worldwide. Temetra provides a platform for metering data unification, validation and delivery to client systems, while also addressing key processes such as long-term data storage, network monitoring, asset inventory and troubleshooting. In addition, it provides out-of-the-box alarm management capabilities, including critical alarm management and operational analytics such as abnormal water use detection.
Temetra Analysis provides quantifiable results to help address non-revenue water (NRW) losses in water distribution systems.
