1. Prerequisites and System Information
To use WebSphere, you must have a MyEclipse Blue or Bling license, purchase address >>
This document describes the installation of WAS on Windows. If you are using Unix/Linux, please refer to the corresponding WebSphere documentation to know you are done and start the program exactly. If there are comparable executables on Linux, the instructions will be very similar except for the directory paths.
Note: There is no WebSphere installation for Macintosh.
You will need a few different software programs to complete the steps in this document.
- WebSphere Application Server 7.0 for Developers Installer
- Latest WebSphere Update Installer
- WebSphere Application Server 7.0.0.x Update PAK (.PAK file)
- Java SDK Update for 7.0.0.x (.PAK file)
These are the installers and PAKs used for this tutorial. If you read this tutorial later and are going to use other feature packs or update the PAK, make sure that no other updates interfere with the functionality of those feature packs.
2. Install WebSphere Application Server 7
1. Download the free WebSphere Application Server runtime files.
2. After the ZIP file is downloaded, extract the compressed file and double-click launchpad.exe .
3. Launchpad启动后，单击链接来启动WebSphere Application Server for Developers的安装程序。
