1. Preparation
1.window server 2019 system iso image file
If you haven't downloaded the system image yet, you can download it from this website https://msdn.itellyou.cn/. The download speed is OK, and when I download it here, the speed can reach more than 10Mb/s.
2.VMware virtual machine
There are a lot of download resources for VMware, so I won't share download resources for you here (I used VMware 15 in the tutorial).
Two, create a virtual machine
1. Create a new virtual machine in VMware
2. Choose Custom (Advanced)
3. Select virtual machine hardware compatibility
This step just follow the default
4. Choose an operating system
In this step, let's not worry about adding the iso mirror
Choose the corresponding version, here my virtual machine supports up to the version of Windows server 2016, so I chose the 2016 version.
5. Name the virtual machine and select the virtual machine installation path
6. Set up virtual machine hardware

9. Create Disk
Set the disk size. I follow the default here. You can set this step by yourself. If you are studying for the purpose, 60GB is enough. In addition, it is recommended that you choose to divide the disk into multiple files.
Select virtual disk storage location
10. Check the virtual machine configuration
If there are no problems, click Finish, and a new virtual machine will appear on the left side of the VMware virtual machine.
11. Configure iso mirror
Three, install WindowsServer 2019
1. Start WindowsServer 2019
It is often very slow to open for the first time, so be patient, wait...
During the period, the system may freeze. Don't worry if you encounter this situation, just restart it.
When this page appears, we can continue.
2. Set the installation language

You can skip this step first, click on "I don't have a product key" below
4. WindowsServer installation
An operating system with a desktop is more conducive to our operations when using it. After all, one of the advantages of Windows is also its powerful visual desktop system.
Accept terms
Select the following Custom: Install Windows (Advanced) only
Select the Windows installation disk.
In addition, you can also split the disk here.

Four, complete
Following the above steps, after the virtual machine restarts, we will be prompted to set the user name and password. After the settings are completed, we can enter the WindowsServer2019 virtual machine.
About virtual machine network
We have configured the network for the virtual machine before. Generally, as long as your host is connected to the Internet, your virtual machine has a network.
Of course, when we first run WindowsServer, the system will prompt us to connect to the network, direct point was on it.
