Zhongke Fangde server operating system virtual machine installation process record

There is no technical content, but some pitfalls were stepped on in the process. I will make a record for subsequent reference and other people's reference.

1. Create a new virtual machine wizard --- select a typical configuration

2. Select: Install the guest operating system later

3. Select the operating system and version of the client computer. For the Zhongke Fangde server system, the version needs to be selected during installation: Centos or redhat. The optional settings are as shown in the figure below: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 64 bits:

Note: Later, I tested and found that even if some system mirrors choose Red Hat EnterPrise Linux 8 64-bit settings, there will still be a problem that the network cannot be set up. Therefore, in order to prevent everyone from stepping on the pit like me, everyone here chooses Centos! !!

But if you accidentally encounter a pit, try more~~

Be careful not to choose: ubuntu in this place, otherwise you will experience the same as me: the situation that the network cannot be set,:

After this setting, the following problem will appear:

root@localhost 桌面]# service network restartRedirecting to /bin/systemctl restart network.serviceFailed to restart network.service: Unit network.service not foundroot@localhost 桌面]# systemctl restart networkFailed to restart network.service: Unit network.service not found.

After this, the virtual machine network cannot be configured live or alive, and commands such as NetworkManager and nmcli cannot make the configuration take effect.

4. Set the virtual machine name and location

5. Set the size of the virtual machine disk. The system requirements for this size are different. What I installed this time is the image of Zhongke Fangdegao trusted server, 40GB is enough.

 6. Complete

7. Edit the virtual machine settings and set the image startup information, otherwise it will prompt that there is no system when starting the virtual machine

8. Select the system image file

9. Set the image file location, memory and other necessary information

10. Start the virtual machine and enter the installation interface:

11. The self-test program starts

12. Select language

13. Accept the license and set the system installation location

14. Start the installation

15. Set root user password and create new user according to requirement

 17. Restart

After restarting, log in to the system with the newly created user or root user information to use it normally.
