 The solution is as follows:

1. Update Windows

1. After installing Windows Server 2012, open it

2. Use the shortcut keys [Windows] + [E] to open the system resource manager window;

3. Find the computer, and then find the control panel to open, as shown below

4. Continue to enter [windows update] to find Windows update as shown below 

5. Change the automatic update, click OK 6. It shows that there is no updateable item, restart

2. Download the image file for installation 

1. Download the vmtools.iso file online, you can download one first, and then update it later. The URL is as follows, Xunlei can automatically identify and download. vmtools.iso file  https://packages.vmware.com/tools/releases/11.1.1/windows/

 

 2. After downloading, replace the image file with the iso file you just downloaded, as shown below

3. Open Windows Server2012, select the DVD drive, and open 

4. Select the application inside to start the installation 

5. Select the first one, typical installation, and then proceed to the next step 

  6. After the installation is complete, restart and replace the image file.
