1. Preparation
1. Download the windows server 2019 ISO image file;

2. Download the corresponding server raid array card driver and other hardware drivers of the server;

3. Use the system boot disk creation tool to download the downloaded windows server 2019 ISO Burn the image file to a CD or U disk;
2. System boot installation
1. After normally booting the system to install the U disk or CD, it may prompt "Press any key to continue...", at this time, you need to press any key on the keyboard to start the Windows installation program;
Then enter the "Windows is loading files" screen and the "Starting Windows" screen;
2. Then enter the graphical interface of the Windows installer, generally the default is not changed, click "Next";
3. Install Windows, click "Install Now";
4. Enter the secret key, click Next, as shown in the figure below:
Enter the product key, if there is no key to skip, click I do not have a product key
3. Select the version to install
1. Select the version to be installed, we select the "Desktop Experience" version, and click "Next";
Note: Standard is the standard version, which can run up to two virtual machines on two processors.
Datacenter is the data center version, running an unlimited number of virtual machines on up to two processors.
2. For the license agreement, check the "I accept the license terms" check box, and then click "Next";
3. Select "Custom: Install Windows only (Advanced) (C)";
4. Load the raid driver
1. Although the Windows Server 2016 system includes most mainstream raid card drivers, it does not have built-in all array card drivers, so you may not be able to find the server array and hard disk on the "Where do you want to install Windows?" page , you need to manually load the array card driver, click "Load Driver";
2. A window for loading the driver will appear, click "Browse";
3. Then select the driver on the U disk or raid card driver CD in the browse box Program folder, and click "OK";
4. Select the driver with the word "RAID" at the beginning, and then click "Next";
5. At this time, the configured array "disk # unallocated space" will appear. For manual partitioning, click "Advanced" and then click "New", enter the partition size and click "Apply" to create a partition; if manual partitioning is not required, just click "Next".
Note: If the driver has been loaded correctly but the disk still does not appear, it is likely that the array is not configured, please return to the BIOS or raid configuration interface to check the status of the array.
1. After clicking "Apply" for manual partitioning, you will be prompted to create an additional system partition, click "OK" to continue;
2. Because an additional system partition has been created, the actual size of the newly created partition will be slightly smaller, click "Next" Start copying system files.
Note: Installing the Windows Server system using UEFI boot method will create 2 (3) additional partitions before creating a new primary partition. Please do not delete or format these partitions.
If you use a CD to load the driver, you must put the Windows installation CD back into the CD drive before clicking "Next", otherwise the installation cannot continue.
3. Start to install Windows. After the "Install Update" phase is completed, there may be an automatic restart;
After restarting, the Windows installer continues with the "Complete Installation" stage, which will automatically restart once after this stage is completed;
6. Set the system password
1. After completing the installation and restarting, you will be prompted to create a password after entering the graphical interface, click "OK";
Note: Enter the new password. The password has certain complexity requirements. Please remember the password well. If you forget the password, it may be difficult to recover; 2.
After completing the password setting, press "Ctrl"+"Alt"+"Delete" to unlock, and then enter the password. Log in to the system and the installation is complete
7. Driver installation
Install the server driver downloaded in the preparation work at the beginning. Do not use driver installation programs such as Driver Wizard and Driver Life to install the driver, as it will cause incompatibility.
