Skills necessary for FPGA engineers (3): The solution to the locked IP core

This article is based on VIVADO 2018.3 version

In actual development, we often have to receive other people's project files. When other people's development versions are different from ours, the IP cores in the project files are often locked.

The solution is:
find reports-report IP status

Then click upgrade selected to complete the unlocking of the ip core

But sometimes we will get NO ip specified error

This is because Chinese is included in the save path of the project file

The problem can be solved after changing the path to all English!
