Ubuntu upgrade two days before the start virtualbox save after reboot
Cause of the problem is reflected from the error report is due out some kernel driver is not compiled, so Virtualbox not work properly. In fact, not difficult to deal with this problem on Ubuntu, the following are a few steps to solve this problem:
First, install the kernel header files and build tools.
$ sudo apt-get install build-essential module-assistant
$ sudo m-a prepare
Then, the virtualbox kernel drivers are compiled in a previous report errors mentioned in the order.
$ Sudo / sbin / vboxconfig
root@timcngsen-All-Series:~# virtualbox
WARNING: The vboxdrv kernel module is not loaded. Either there is no module
available for the current kernel (5.0.0-37-generic) or it failed to
load. Please recompile the kernel module and install it by
sudo /sbin/vboxconfig

直接执行保存提示的命令即可sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
再运行Virtualbox就会变得正常了。
