FreeBSD 12.1 Beta release, Unix operating system

FreeBSD is a free Unix-like operating system, is an important branch of through BSD, 386BSD and 4.4BSD Unix-evolved. FreeBSD 12.1 Beta has been released, it provides a variety of errors / security fixes and other changes to the BSD operating system. It reads as follows:

  • By default, gcc -WERROR flag is not enabled
  • The lightweight BearSSL as TLS / SSL FreeBSD base system introduced to realize
  • Added bzip2recover

For details, see the release notes , FreeBSD team plans to release at least one or two beta and release candidate versions of about three. FreeBSD 12.1 official version may be released in early November.
