The third beta version of the FreeBSD 13.1 release cycle is now available, and changes since Beta 2 include:
- The REPRODUCIBLE_BUILD option is enabled by default
- Various updates and fixes to the USB subsystem
- Fixed a bug in sblock.fs_maxbsize initialization in newfs(8)
- Updates and fixes to lindebugfs
- Removed unnecessary compatibility fixes in libcxxrt
- Implemented compile-time modifications to compiler-rt
- OpenSSL has been updated to version 1.1.1n
- Resolved a build-time fix when WITHOUT_BOOT was defined in src.conf(5)
- Fixed virtio_random(4) to avoid deadlock
- Made a build fix to if_epair(4)
- The leap seconds documentation has been updated to version 3676924800
- The time zone database has been updated to version 2022a
- Fixed an issue where vga(4) and vt(4) could result in no video/console output
- Updated arm64 specific code to make get_pcpu() a function
- Support for automatic loading of decryption keys from ZFS filesystems
