Apache Mynewt 1.7.0 release, this version of the traditional bootloader (bootutils) has been removed, Mynewt now mcuboot. Mynewt is a modular operating system for resource-constrained embedded operating system application environments. Mynewt provide the basis for real-time operating systems and embedded middleware, flash file system, network stack and utilities support.
The new version of the update highlights include:

- Fully supports all standard HAL-s (UART, I2C, SPI, timers and flash)
- Power management (including deep sleep)
- BLE supports integrated controller (required from suppliers SDK firmware binary file)

- Task pool package allows creation and deletion of common tasks at runtime.
