NetBSD 9.0 RC1 is now available. NetBSD is a free, secure, and highly portable open source UNIX operating system, which is suitable for a variety of platforms, from 64-bit AlphaServers and desktop systems to handheld and embedded systems. It is very clean in design and advanced features, which make it in the industry and academia are legendary. Users can be supported by full source code. Many applications can be easily obtained from NetBSD Packages Collection.
It is reported that, NetBSD 9.0 is a major upgrade this BSD operating system, its modern Arm and x86_64 Intel / AMD hardware to provide better support. Also updated the ZFS file system support, the kernel eventually support the kernel address space layout randomization, and added other core functions. And the release of NetBSD 9.0 RC1 is expected to become the only candidate version.
