The new Microsoft Edge use Chrome roadmap to phase out Flash

Microsoft announced a new version of Microsoft Edge will follow with Chrome and other browsers based on chromium same Adobe Flash retirement roadmap.

As early as July 2017, Adobe announced that it would end support for Flash by the end of 2020. Subsequently, each of the major browser makers, including Microsoft and Google, including one after another announced their plan to phase out Flash in the browser.

According to Microsoft's latest announcement by the end of 2020, users will no longer be enabled and Adobe Flash in Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge. In 2017, Microsoft had just released two retired Flash browser roadmap .

Since the new version of Microsoft Edge chromium-based development, so Google will follow the road map, with the other eliminated within the same time Chromium browser-based Flash. In the phase-out plan, Flash will initially be disabled, users need to re-enable the site one by one; by the end of 2020, Flash from the browser completely removed.

Older versions of Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge Flash experience will not be any change in 2019, still the default disabled state. According to the original plan, before December 2020 will completely remove these browsers Adobe Flash.
