Microsoft Edge add Chrome theme support

Microsoft said it would add support to the theme based on the new Microsoft Edge Chromium browser in the Chrome Web Store.

As we all know, since January 2020 release date of the new Edge browser has been allowed to install extensions from the Chrome Web Store. On the other hand, the browser did not support the installation of themes from the Chrome Web Store. When a user attempts to do this, it will pop up a "An error has occurred" dialog box that displays the contents of "Themes are not supported" is.

Currently, Microsoft added a new option in the Canary latest version of its browser, allowing users to install Chrome theme in Microsoft Edge. However, this feature is not enabled by default, need to unlock later in the experimental flags in order to enable the browser page.

If the test is successful, then in the near future, other Microsoft Edge channels will also provide the option to install Chrome theme.

Specific steps are as follows:

1. Ensure that Microsoft Edge Canary latest version. You can edge: Check for updates on // settings / help.
2. Loaded in the address bar of your browser edge: // flags / # edge-allow-store-extension-themes; the page should skip to "allow the installation of an external storage theme" logo on the page.
