Manjaro Linux 18.1 "Juhraya" has been officially launched, the new version offers many improvements, especially in the Office productivity applications and package management.
LibreOffice or FreeOffice: can choose
So far only pre-installed LibreOffice. The latest version of Manjaro can now be selected during the installation process: You can select free German software developer SoftMaker Office suite of FreeOffice 2018, or still use LibreOffice, you can even skip installing any Office suite.
FreeOffice kit for those who pay attention to seamless compatibility with Microsoft Office, which itself uses the current Microsoft file formats DOCX, XLSX and PPTX. As the demand Manjaro community, FreeOffice DOC format has been extended to support Microsoft earlier, XLS and PPT and standardized document format OpenDocument Text (ODT).
