New Node.js operating environment, new system cache cleaning function, 1Panel open source panel v1.7.0 released

On October 16, 2023, the modern, open source Linux server operation and maintenance management panel 1Panel officially released version v1.7.0.

In this version, 1Panel adds a new Node.js operating environment; a new system cache cleaning function; and supports the selection of remote databases when installing applications. Additionally, we made over 40 feature updates and bug fixes. The 1Panel app store has added 2 new apps and updated 25 apps. Thanks to community users for their feedback and support, the new version of 1Panel has more complete functions.

Highlights Update

■ Added Node.js running environment

1Panel v1.7.0 version adds a new Node.js operating environment. Now you can easily create and manage Node.js websites on 1Panel. With 1Panel, users can easily create Node.js projects in minutes. 1Panel provides an intuitive setup wizard to help users quickly start applications without complex configuration, greatly saving time and energy.

In addition, we provide comprehensive monitoring functions, so you can track the performance and running status of Node.js applications in real time, detect and handle errors in a timely manner, ensuring the healthy operation of the application and a better user experience.

■Support system cache cleaning function

1Panel v1.7.0 version supports the system cache cleaning function. Users can easily clear the system cache and free up disk space on 1Panel. The cleaning types currently supported by 1Panel include:

1. System garbage: temporary files generated during snapshots, upgrades, etc., as well as discarded files during version iteration;

2. Temporarily upload files: The system uploads temporary files uploaded in the backup list;

3. Temporary downloaded files: temporary files downloaded by the system from a third-party backup account;

4. System log files: system log information, log information such as container building or image pulling, and log files generated in scheduled tasks.

The app store of 1Panel v1.7.0 has been fully upgraded, bringing users richer functions and a more convenient operating experience.
