一、移动通信技术持续发展变革
 
在讨论5G前,请让我们稍回顾一下4G时代发生了什么,我至今还记得2013年的两个技术关键问题是4G和移动互联网,我去参加行业会议,请教专家和我的朋友王孝华先生,4G对物流来说意味着什么?他说,虽然还看不清4G技术会具体带来什么产品和服务,但是他相信4G和移动互联网为我们带来生活方式的深刻变化,后来的发展验证了这个预见。
 
今天我们都离不开智能手机,我每天要用6个多小时“刷屏”, 因为离不开微信、支付宝、手机视频还有抖音等4G时代风行的应用。我们身边的无数商业模式和业务内容深植于4G网络之上。

我很赞成这样一句话,如果说4G改变了生活,5G则将改变世界。因为4G在带宽、时延和接入特性上仍然不能完全适应前面所述的物联网、人工智能等热点技术,而5G的到来则会克服4G的诸多不足,给物流等领域带来革命性的变革。
 
国家发改委把5G誉为全球新一轮科技革命产业变革的代表核心技术之一,也是实现万物互联人机交互的战略性信息基础设施。不仅我国政府高度重视5G发展,提出加快5G的商业步伐,欧美等发达国家都把5G视为新技术革命竞争的制高点。
 
我们物流信息互通共享及应用国家工程实验室对5G发展业高度重视,联合南京邮电大学等院校专家,对5G在物流领域的应用进行了前瞻性的系统研究,完成了《5G通信技术在新一代物流行业中的应用前瞻》研究报告,供行业参考。

我们发现,新一代物流行业最大的特点是智慧性,因此在物联网技术、人工智能技术、大数据云计算技术和区块链技术这些核心技术的驱动下,新一代智慧物流呈现出全新的架构体系。无论是各种核心技术的产品落地,还是整体智慧型物流架构中传输层的需求,目前的网络技术并不能胜任。
 
因此,5G网络技术是一个关键性的驱动因素。5G的全面商用是新一代物流行业全面发展的一个重要契机。
 
5G具有很多关键技术,包括控制与转发分离技术、多元场景接入技术、移动边缘计算技术MECC、按需组网技术、大规模MIMO技术以及无线自组织网络MESH技术等。
 
这些关键技术促成了5G的很多优势,例如控制转发分离技术使得5G接入灵活,时延较低;移动边缘MECC技术使得5G时延较低;网络切片等组网技术使得5G业务拓展性较好等等。

二、5G的优势和应用场景
 
5G网络技术能够作为新一代物流行业的重要技术支撑,主要由于其具备具有以下优势:高速度数据传输、传输低时延、海量接入特性、按需组网、移动边缘计算、网络泛在能力高、功耗低、传输安全性高。
 
在5G的推动下,一方面核心技术例如人工智能、大数据与云计算、物联网以及区块链技的产品可以快速落地为新一代物流服务;另一方面,物流架构中引入5G作为关键传输层技术,由于其无缝接入特性使得其他通信技术的业务可以被有效接入和融合。
 
5G在新一代物流行业中有很多应用场景,比较常见的是全自动化运输、智能仓储还有增强现实应用等等。全自动化运输包括无人车快递运输、无人机配送等等,因为5G的低时延特性,这类场景在新一代物流中很常见;智能仓储场景得益于5G的海量接入特性,大量物联网设备将被无缝接入仓储环境中,形成智能分拣、无人仓储以及智能佩戴等等应用;增强现实技术实现的场景包括协助员工完成分拣,协助快递员识别门牌号等等。
 
这些应用场景对于上游企业和广大用户可以体验到更高的服务质量,当然需要企业投入更多的硬件资源,国家制定更加合理的法律约束,例如自动化驾驶相关的交通法规。

另外,5G在新一代物流行业中也有一些特殊的场景,以5G加速的物流数据计算平台场景为例,在物流运输过程中,GPS导航系统可以通过5G获取远程云物流平台提供的信息数据进行路径规划和故障避免。
 
在冷链供应的物流体系中,节点可以通过5G连接远程云物流架构实现温度调控和物品跟踪;在物流供应链中,很多物流服务人员都需要使用终端设备,5G可以通过大数据中心和云计算服务实现即时分析,为客户提供更加全面的物流服务;物流中有很多嵌入式设备,基于5G和数据计算平台都可以对现实场景及时反馈,例如无人机配送。

5G促进了物流大数据和云计算平台的发展,海量数据的来源将变得更加广泛,不仅仅是上层应用中,更会是任意一个物流节点,这些数据都可以被上传云端数据库,同时能够被及时更新。
 
所以,在5G的作用下,无论是下游的物流企业还是上游的电商企业,还是作为客户的广大消费群体,既是数据的产生者,也是数据的搬运者,更是数据的得益者。
 
从这一点论述,5G显然可以提升新一代物流行业的服务质量和公信力。当然,虽然5G可以促进物流大数据和云计算平台的高效运转,但是只能从数据传输质量角度发挥作用,还需要大数据存储策略和云计算服务方案的高效执行,才能有所保障。
 
另外,数据安全一直是各行业关注的问题,物流也不例外,任何一家电商平台无论在PC端和移动端,还是后台系统都会有很多数据保护算法为相关应用护航。
 
5G因为具有高带宽特性,使得区块链能够更为高效地完成秘钥计算和数据处理,和上游的电商平台的安全方案一起维护物流体系的安全,能够使得物流企业和消费用户以及电商企业安心运转。
 
基于5G支撑的区块链技术能够真实可靠地记录和传递物流过程产生的资金信息、产品信息以及物流位置信息,5G技术可以保证信息传递过程的实时性和高效性,提升行业整体效率。
 
从这一角度讲,区块链技术维护了整个物流关系产业链的安全,促进了行业的发展,但是区块链应用对于硬件要求较高,例如需要使用到并行和分布式计算等等。推进物流企业的基础设施和计算机资源建设是目前此应用场景急需关心的问题。
