2020 is destined to be an extraordinary year, especially for practitioners in our logistics industry. As we all know, we caught up with the sudden epidemic at the beginning of this year, and all the more than 200,000 employees of JD Logistics have always been on the front line. In the past 8 years, we have always insisted on "delivery during the Spring Festival". In the face of this epidemic, all logistics employees went retrograde and became the vanguard of the fight against the epidemic. Many people are saying that they feel particularly warm and hopeful when they see JD Express wearing red work clothes.
After the outbreak, we opened a national and global voluntary transportation channel to Wuhan as soon as possible. In cities that were almost shut down, we distributed masks, disinfectants, rice, flour, grains and oil and other medical and daily supplies, providing everyone with a stable life guarantee. Contributed to the fight against the epidemic.
We have provided free luggage delivery for medical rescue teams in more than 30 provinces, and distributed teaching materials to students studying at home in more than 100 cities to ensure that classes are not suspended. In more than 100 cities, the vegetable basket people’s livelihood project has been implemented to provide a rear area for the people to fight the epidemic.

According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as of September, more than 500,000 5G base stations have been established across the country. For example, one of our automotive customers encountered three typical problems in the after-sales spare parts supply chain, including fragmentation of upstream and downstream information, high inventory levels, and slow delivery timeliness. In response to these problems, we provide customers with a complete set of solutions: through a set of order collaboration platform system, the link is opened to solve the problem of information fragmentation; through sales forecasting and intelligent replenishment, the entire inventory level is reduced by 30% ; Through the intelligent warehousing of the spare parts warehouse, the distribution frequency has been increased from 2-3 times a week to 6 times, and the one-time order fulfillment rate has increased by 10%.
Another is our consumer goods industry customers, using our smart station, digital fleet and on-chain signing and other products to realize park intelligent scheduling, digital platform, electronic waybill contract, etc., saving customers more than 60 % Labor cost and 50% document management cost.
Looking to the future, consumption upgrades and industrial reforms will continue to deepen. The second story happened in Pingyi County, Shandong Province. In less than 2 months, the Pingyi Smart Cloud Warehouse project was laid and the Jingdong Pingyi Pavilion went online. Through the combination of e-commerce industrial parks and smart cloud warehouses, Pingyi County has created the "Pingyi Model" of e-commerce entering the village and logistics entering the village, and it was selected as the "Shandong Province Local Reform Case" in 2019.

Pingyi Smart Cloud Warehouse uses four self-developed technology products of JD Logistics, namely, automated warehouse, Sirius shuttle, Landwolf AGV and cross sorter. Pingyi Smart Cloud Warehouse is one of the smart cloud warehouses of national production areas. In the future, we will replicate the smart cloud warehouses to more production areas. The last story is related to the epidemic. This year's epidemic has made us realize the urgency and importance of “digital management of emergency supplies”.
At the beginning of February this year, according to customer needs, JDL began to build a national emergency resource management platform, mobilized more than 300 internal business backbones, formed a special project team, raced against time, and completed the management platform online, trial operation and personnel training through the "Hundred Days Battle" .
The emergency resource management platform is divided into three sections, which include: material logistics management system, donation management system and social force management system. Through one platform and three systems, the five major issues of “find, manage, tune, deliver, and traceability” of emergency supplies have been solved, and finally realized the “operation and sharing of emergency resource supply and demand information on one platform, and deployment actions Coordinate on one platform."
