年轻人虽然跟许多经理交谈过,却从来没有听人这样说过。简直不能相信,一分钟经理——不用花多少时间就可以获得满意的效果。

 

经理看他脸上颇有疑色,就说道:“你不相信我,是吗?你不相信我是一   分钟经理?

 

“我必须这样承认,这对我来说简直难以想象。年轻人回答说。”

 

经理笑着说:“这样好了,如果你真的想知道我到底是怎样的一个经理,你最好去跟我的下级谈谈。”

 

经理侧进头,欠身朝对讲机说了几句话。不一会,他的秘书梅凯芙小组走进来。递给年轻人一张纸。

 

“这是直接对我负责的六个人,姓名、职务、电话都有。”一分钟经理解释道。

 

“我要跟谁谈呢?”年轻人问。

 

“由你决定,”经理回答。“随便你跟谁谈,或者全部都谈。”

 

“好吧,那我要从哪一个人开始?”

 

“我已经告诉你了,我从不替别人作决定,”经理生硬地说。“你自己作决定。”他站起来送客人到门口。

 

“你不止问我一次,而是两次,要我为你决定很简单的事。坦白地说,年轻人,我觉得很厌烦。不要让我重复说过去的话。随便挑一个去跟他谈谈,要不然就到别的地方去找你的有效的经理。”

一分钟经理接着直视着年轻人的眼睛,说道:“你愿意知道如何管理人,我很喜欢你。”说着,握了握年轻人的手。

 

“跟他们谈了之后,如果你还有问题,”经理热心地说,“你可以回来找我。你有这个意愿学习管理方法,我很高兴,我愿意把一分钟管理这个意愿传授给你。有人把这套方法教给我,使我判若两人。我希望你能彻底了解它。如果你愿意的话,你将来也可以成为一个一分钟经理。”

 

“谢谢您。”年轻人应酬着。
