I tried to speed read a book "Little Habits" on Sunday night. There are seven chapters in total and the directory structure is not complicated. I plan to read each chapter in 7-8 minutes.
From 20:15-21:00. While reading, set an alarm clock to speed up your progress. While reading, I took note of some key points and underlines from the WeChat reading.
Chapter 6 has the richest practical content. It took about 40 minutes to actually read, and it detailed eight practical steps.
Next, a mind map and specific action plan will be compiled.
I found that when I force myself to read a book, time passes very quickly. I can feel that time really flies by second by second. It feels like racing against time. It is very fulfilling and efficient. I will read the parts that require intensive reading in the future.
