Three plug-ins and eNSP installation steps
The following three plug-ins must be installed before installing ensp:
VirtualBoX installation
- Double-click the installation package, run the installation program, and click Next;
- Select installation location
- Go directly to the next step;
- Just click yes;
- Click to install directly;
- Then click Finish;
WinPcap installation
- Click WinPcap to install, the page as shown will appear, go to the next step;
- Click I accept, agree to the terms, and proceed to the next step;
- Click Finish
Wireshark installation
- Find the installation package and double-click it;
- Keep clicking NEXT;
- Select installation path
- Click next
- Click to install
- Click next
- Click Finish
eNSP installation
eNSP software and three environments need to be prepared. eNSP serves as the main body of the simulator and requires corresponding versions of VirtualBox and WinPcap to provide virtual environments. Wireshark is used to test the capture of data packets in the experiment.
eNSP installation process
First, you need to install the first three environments. During installation, you only need to choose the corresponding installation location without any thought.
Then install eNSP.
