The first one (the size is more than 10 M) is online online installation, and the installation package will be downloaded online.
The second one (the size is more than 400 M) is offline installation, here we choose this and download it locally for installation. Click "Downloda" to enter the download page
Although the download is the 32-bit version, the 64-bit version is also included).
On the download page, select No thanks, just start my download at the bottom

2. Install mysql
1. Double-click the installation software to start the installation
2. The following figure is to select the installation type, select the default installation, and then click "next".
3. Detect the required installation, here we directly click next
4. Click yes
5. Click Execute to start the installation
6. After the installation is complete, click next
7. Click next multiple times (until the following page appears), the first one is selected by default, click “next” to continue
8. Password authentication method (Authentication Method) This step is very important
The first is strong password verification. MySQL recommends using the latest database and related clients. MySQL8 has changed the encryption plug-in, so if you choose the first method, it is very likely that your navicat and other clients will not be able to connect to mysql8.
So you must choose the second one here (the place in the red box in the picture below)
9. Click Execute to start the installation
10. After the installation is complete, click Finish
11. Set a password, you need to keep in mind, and use this password to link the database later. After entering, click next to continue.

13. Enter the user name and password, click check to check if they are correct. Next can be clicked after success
14. Click Execute to execute the installation (click Finish when finished)
15. Click Finish (the first is the Mysql client, if you don't use it, just check the second "start mysql shell after setup", click "finish") (the installation of the database is completed here)
3. Verify that the installation is successful
1. Open the mysql command line client you just installed from the start menu as shown below
2. Enter the password and press Enter
3. Enter show databases;
This command must be followed by a semicolon (;) to indicate the end of the SQL statement. This command is used to display the default installed database, as shown in the following figure, the installation is successful.
