According to the conference settings, the conference will select three outstanding representatives from the 54 young scholars who participated in the speech according to the scores accepted by the IJCAI conference and the scores given by the organizing committee and Session Chair .  Ding Jianhao  

Ding Jianhao, PhD candidate at Peking University, supervised by Professor Huang Tiejun/Assistant Professor Yu Zhaofei. The main directions include spiking neural networks, neuromorphic computing, etc. Published many research papers in international journals or conferences such as IJCAI, NeurIPS, CVPR, ICLR, AAAI, FGCS, and served as a reviewer for international artificial intelligence journals and conferences such as NeurIPS, ICCV, IEEE TNNLS.

The Talk shared by Ding Jianhao at this conference is related to the research on the optimal conversion of deep spiking neural networks. Aiming at the challenge of reasoning and high energy consumption brought about by deep neural network models represented by large models, the application of spiking neural networks on neuromorphic chips brings the possibility of low-energy edge applications. Dr. Ding shared his team's mid-draft paper in IJCAI 2021 and some follow-up explorations, which discussed how to obtain a spiking neural network with performance not inferior to the original network under the principle of optimal conversion of the deep artificial neural network, so as to achieve low-energy inference.

 Wang Di 

Wang Di is a second-year doctoral student at the School of Software, Dalian University of Technology, and his co-supervisors are Professor Fan Xin and Professor Liu Risheng. His main research interests include low-level visual analysis, multimodal image fusion and perception. The research results have been published in international/domestic journals and conferences such as IJCAI/Information Fusion/ICME/ICRA/JCST/"Journal of Software". One of the research results on multimodal image registration and fusion was included in IJCAI 2022 as an oral presentation.

Aiming at the problem that existing multimodal image fusion methods are difficult to deal with the spatial deformation of unaligned images, resulting in edge ghosting of fused images, an unsupervised cross-modal "registration-fusion" joint method for infrared and visible light image fusion is proposed. The main directions include clustering analysis, charting machine learning, semantic segmentation, etc., published multiple papers at IEEE T-IP, IEEE T-KDE, IEEE T-Nnls, AAAI, IJCAI, CVPR, MM, ICML, Neurips, etc., and served as IEEE T-KDE, IEEE T-NNLS, and IEEE T-NNLS, International artificial intelligence journals such as ACM Tomm and the reviewers of international artificial intelligence conferences such as ACM MM, CVPR, AAAI, Neurips, etc.

The Talk shared by Tu Wenxuan at this conference is related to the depth map clustering algorithm. In view of the fact that traditional graph structure enhancement (randomly deleting or adding edges) may destroy the important structural information of the original graph and increase the risk of information redundancy in the deep graph clustering algorithm, this paper proposes a deep graph clustering algorithm AGC-DRR based on the double redundancy reduction strategy, gives some explorations of their team, and proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm through a large number of experimental results.

After the conference report on the morning of the first day, the conference entered the author’s report session. 54 authors were divided into 18 groups, showing their latest research results and progress; in order to reflect the characteristics of “young scholars as the core”, the conference also set up “Tomorrow’s Star: Face-to-face Forum for Student Authors” and “Leading the Future: Artificial Intelligence Elite Scholars Forum” on the second and third days respectively.
