How do testers break through their own bottlenecks? I have a few opinions

A while ago, I also thought about how to "break through the bottleneck". I think "breaking through the bottleneck" and "making up for shortcomings" are similar, and they have been topics that testers have been talking about since ancient times. I also summed up a few points on how to "break through the bottleneck" and share with you:

1. "Chang Li Zhi, Li Long Zhi". "Aspiration" is the choice of goals. You should set a long-term goal for yourself. This "goal" does not need to be set in 1-2 days. You can broaden your horizons and set a "suitable" goal for yourself. If the goal is determined, stick to it, and don't doubt, regret, or give up when you encounter obstacles. I read an article a few days ago. Middle- and lower-class families in European and American countries let their children learn IT, medical, high-tech and other technical jobs, while upper-class families learn more social sciences such as politics, philosophy, finance, and law. In the future, inherit the family business or lay the foundation for politics. So goals are important, and realistic goals are even more important.

2. "Too much is too late, and the water keeps flowing." Once the goals are set, all that’s left is to execute them. Many times, including me, after three minutes of enthusiasm, I don't care about it, and I don't care about it. I remember wanting to learn performance testing many years ago. I set a goal for myself for half a year. I bought a few books and started learning. After a few days of learning, my interest declined. Coupled with the impact of work, life, and entertainment, learning gradually became indifferent. Now, when I think about it, it will be a few years later. Enthusiasm for learning is a good thing. I also set a long-term study plan for myself, and keep a certain learning time and learning progress under the current situation of life. Persevere and keep flowing, when you study for a while, you will feel that you are slowly turning from a chrysalis into a butterfly.

3. "Seize the opportunity and dare to try". I am a relatively introverted person, and I dare not do many things when I am not fully sure. Some people will say that you are stable and self-aware.... But I know that this kind of personality has caused me to miss many opportunities. Many people who are not as good as me have seized opportunities and done well. I won't be jealous of them, but I will reflect on why I didn't grasp the same opportunity at the time. The so-called "learn literary and martial arts well, and be as good as the imperial family", we learn all kinds of xxx skills and master xxx abilities, isn't it to better demonstrate our abilities and improve ourselves. What's the use of learning so much stuff if you don't grasp the opportunity when it comes and don't try it?

4. "Review the old and learn the new, examine yourself three times a day." I've always had this "hobby" and thought I was doing pretty well. Always reflect on what you and others have done, which may be wrong or right. Summarize more from it and use it in future work and life. This may be the so-called "experience".

5. "Turning zero into whole". Once you work, you will face marriage, children and many other things when you are older. Don't hope to have a long period of free time like "school time", spend your daily fragmentary time on studying, and you will find a difference. Let me tell you an example of myself. When I first graduated, I joined a small company as customer service. The company used SQL Server. On the way to my door-to-door service, I learned SQL Server by myself. One year later, the company’s test team needs people who understand business and SQL. Naturally, I became a qualified candidate. At the beginning, I didn't have so many ideas, but I just felt that the long car ride on the way to the door was quite boring. After experiencing this incident, I felt that "time is like water in a sponge" is very reasonable. Since then, I often use my spare time to study, and the effect is not bad.

There are some prefaces and postscripts in the writing, so let’s make do with it. You are welcome to communicate with me more, so that I can avoid detours.

Want to learn but can't start, how to learn?

Here I have prepared learning materials corresponding to each of the above knowledge points, self-study artifacts, and project practice.
