Full name of APSCA: Association for Professional Social Compliance Auditors (Association for Professional Social Compliance Auditors) was established in October 2015 by advanced social compliance audit companies (Arche Advisors, Bureau Veritas, ELEVATE, Intertek, SGS, RINA, TUV Rheinland, TUV SUD and UL); to bring more credibility to auditors addressing working conditions around the world.
Recently, APSCA released the latest announcement. According to the latest decision of the APSCA Executive Board, starting from July 1, the social compliance audit fee will be gradually increased by US$15 to the total audit cost, which also means that the factory is conducting Amfori BSCI, Audit fees for Sedex, SA8000, WRAP, ICTI, RBA, Disney and other certification programs will also increase by US$15.
The announcement also stated that the increased audit fee is intended to fund all activities arising from the deployment of the 2030 strategy and to maintain the financial stability and sustainability of the association. The fee applies to all APSCA-compliant social compliance audits, including full/initial audits and follow-up audits.
Here, it is recommended that factories with factory inspection needs complete the factory inspection as soon as possible before July 1, 2023.
