In the keynote, Amazon Chief Developer Advocate Martin Beeby talked about how innovation in cloud infrastructure can help customers adapt to challenges and seize new opportunities. Among them, Liz Fong-Jones tells a great story about migrating Amazon Graviton in Honeycomb, and Elliott Cordo tells a story about using Amazon analytics and machine learning services in Capsule to improve the pharmacy experience.

Amazon Summit (New York) Announcements Recap During the keynote, we announced the general availability of some new services:
Amazon Redshift Serverless - This serverless option allows you to analyze data at any scale without having to manage data warehouse infrastructure. You can now use namespaces and workgroups to create multiple serverless endpoints per Amazon account and region at reduced serverless compute costs compared to the preview release. We've also introduced new capabilities for row-level security (RLS), which enforces granular access to rows in a table, and automated materialized views to reduce query latency for repeatable workloads.
Amazon Cloud WAN —This new networking service makes it easy to build and operate a wide area network (WAN) that connects your data centers and branch offices, as well as multiple VPCs in multiple Amazon regions. For more information, read Seb's blog post .
Log Anomaly Detection and Recommendations from Amazon DevOps Guru - This new feature identifies anomalies such as in-application latency, error rates, and resource limit increases, and then sends alerts with descriptions and actionable remediation recommendations. Amazon AppConfig , a feature of Amazon Systems Manager that enables customers to easily, quickly and securely configure, validate, and deploy feature flags and application configurations. Now, we are announcing Amazon AppConfig Extensions, a new feature that allows customers to enhance and extend the capabilities of feature flags and dynamic runtime configuration data.
Extensions available at launch include AppConfig notification extensions that push messages about configuration updates to Amazon EventBridge, Amazon SNS, Amazon SQS, or Jira extensions to track feature flag changes in AppConfig as Atlassian's Jira issues. Amazon VPC Flow Logs for Transit Gateway is a new feature that provides customers with greater insight into network traffic on Amazon Transit Gateway . With this feature, Transit Gateway can export details such as source/destination IP, port, protocol, traffic counters, timestamps, and various metadata of all network flows passing through Transit Gateway.
