step:
1 Allocate disk space to ubuntu
Right click on My Computer, Disk Management
We choose the last disk. If the hard disk is large, use the last partition to install ubuntu. It is easiest to delete the volume directly. If the disk space is tight, you can click on the compressed volume. Generally, ubuntu 20-40G space is enough, and 40G space is compressed for later use. .
Right-click Disk 0 Properties --- Volume to view the disk partition format, remember whether it is mbr or gpt (here is a pit, very important)
2 Make a U disk for ubuntu installation
Use rufus to make ubuntu installation U disk, rufus can be searched and downloaded on Baidu.
The installation USB disk is created.
3 Plug in the prepared ubuntu installation U disk, click f1 continuously after booting to enter the bios,
For older machines whose disk is mbr, you must choose legacy first or legacy only.
For the machine disk is gpt, select uefi only for this option
Press F10 to save and exit bios.
Restart point f2 to enter the usb installation disk.
Language selection Chinese Simplified
点 install ubuntu
Choose Chinese wifi for the keyboard layout and do not set it up for normal installation
Do not select other options to continue
Choose another option for the installation type
All the remaining spaces do not need to be changed, and are put into the / root mount point. So far the partition is complete and continue
Name The computer name and password should be as short as possible and easy to remember, because they are often used, and there is no requirement for confidentiality. Click on the automatic login, and then there will be a long wait for installation.
When this screen appears, unplug the usb installation disk and press Enter to start the system
Start ubuntu by default
The system installation is complete.
